You didn't answer my question you, but all you did was to tell me that a senior tech would be in touch. Twice now, they have logged in and left me with the same problem. The last one said..." ...you came for issue with AVG blocking the Internet connection and I have fixed the issue by reinstalling AVG Ultimate in your computer."
The ST2 (Senior Tech 2) only did what ST1 did. Remove then add. what I already tried that BEFORE.
The ST2 saw that AVG was Disabled. That was so I could go to AVG and connect. With AVG ON, I can't access anything on the Internet - so I disabled it. When the ST2 logged in and saw that, ST2 just started uninstalling everything, and re-installed it.
I STILL can't use the Internet with AVG Internet Security ON. Got to give AVG credit, it really IS the best protection for the Internet. I can remove AVG and plug and unplug my cable for a lot less and still have the same lack of protection.
It is the same as buying a safe and then the leaving money on the keyboard. The latest downgrade has once again, made a mockery of itself.
