Hello Ray,

We will clarify you this.
The files protected by AVG sensitive data shield will be of read only type.
Hence, any functions like copy, cut or delete of those files couldn't be done as a prompt would appear saying that they are controlled by AVG.
When AVG Antivirus/Internet Security is uninstalled, these files will be reverted to normal mode.
When the files are protected by AVG sensitive data shield, then the files couldn't be backed up too.

1. If I protect some documents with AVG Document Shield what happens if I remove AVG from that computer.

2. Will protected sensitive documents be backed up by most backup programs?

3. What happens if protected documents are restored onto a different computer?

4. What happens if protected documents are copied onto another device?
