Please make sure that the computer is turned on at the time of schedule scan and also it is recommended not to perform more functions on the PC at the time of schedule scan.

After installing the latest AVG Protection (full version) and scheduling a scan for 8.00 every morning, AVG fails to carry out this operation. It will scan the pc at some point during the day but not at the time which has been set. It would seem like the new AVG program will not sync with the clock on the pc. This has never been a problem with any previous versions of AVG. Please advise.
The good news, this has worked and AVG scanned this morning at the scedduled time, many thanks. Now if AVG can stop the annoying pop ups advertising other AVG products for paid up customers like myself, AVG will be back to its former glory.
