Setting up AVG Email for Gmail SMTP with Outlook Express

Is this actually possible?  The connection with Gmail is SSL with password.  I have setup Outlook Express to communicate directly with smtp.gmail.com on port 465 and this works.  I cannot find any examples illustrating setting up Outlook Express to work with AVG email protection.

Yes it is and after much swearing I got it to work.  All that was preventing it was the need to uncheck the secure connection (SSL) option under the SMTP port number in the advanced tab.  It is now unchecked and works like a charm.
