On 4/30/17 I posted that I was having trouble setting up and running Scheduled scans since my AVG (free) updated to Ver 17.3.3011. I received a response to run the "Repair" on the AVG software. I did that and it completed successfully. However, the AVG screen still shows that the last time my PC was scanned was … the last time I did a manual scan. I decided to check the report and found that it showed the results for the Scheduled scans. Because of this I have no way of knowing that my scheduled scan was run unless I open the report page. I'm assuming that AVG is waking up my PC at 2 AM to run my scheduled scan … that's the time shown on the report log. (that is also the time I set it to run) The old version could not wake up a sleeping PC. Can someone give me some direction to better utilize Scheduled scans? Thank you.
