I was trying to install AVG antivirus but is show error saying "Waiting for watchdog service start failed"

Error message: General internal error.
Additional message: MSI Engine: Failed to install the product.

I can't even reinstall. please assist me

Hi Danny, this issue occurs when you have installed any other conflicting security software in your computer. Please check if you have installed any other Anti-Virus program in your computer. If yes, please uninstall it and then try to reinstall AVG.
