We understand that you are unable to edit or save the excel file and it is protected by AVG. Please disable AVG temporarily in your computer and check if you are able to edit or save the excel file.
To disable AVG temporarily, please right click on the AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(System Tray) and you can see a scroll bar to "Disable Protection". Please click on the same to disable AVG Protection and check if you are able to access this application.

I only switched off the ransomware protection, and now everything is working fine. But I would like to understand why this happens.
I have an important Excall document which I now suddenly cannot safe after editing, the message I receive is that there is a sharing violation becauseof my virus protection. What I dont understand is that I have several other Excell spread sheets which do not have the same problem.
It does not even allow me to save it under a different name.
Can anybode assist?
