Sheduled Scan did not run on version 2016.0.7163 today 14th October

I have the schedule set to run the Scheduled Scan at 12 noon dfaily & also to run when the machine is switched on if it is not on at 12 noon.
But today the Scheduled scan has not run.
Question why?
