The new "Scheduled Scan" setting did not work.
However the system updated this morning.
Have now reset "Scheduled Scan" to original setting to see if that works
Your advise please on how to cure the problem?
Or would it be best just to select "Scan Whole Computer" manually?
As suggested I carried out the repair process.
I then reset the "Scheduled Scan" timing.
Pleased to say it worked.
Have now set "Scheduled Scan" timing back to my preferred time & will do final test tomorrow.

AVG is running but I have just noticed that the "Scheduled Scan" set to run daily at 12 Noon, has not run since 25th November
What is the reason for this?

The AVG repair will generally take 10 to 15 minutes to complete. If the internet connection and computer is faster, then it will complete much sooner.

The Version is Free version number 16.131.7924
I have now been into Options/Advanced Setting/Schedules/Scheduled Scans & have reset to "Everyday" @ 10:00.
I will report back after this time tomorrow stating if problem is cleared or not.
