Hi,

I have not tried that. The next time I am flagged with this message, I will restart the computer and see if AVG allows me to remove the deleted files.

Hi Joseph,

It's possible that the files you are shredding are hold by another user/process. Can you shred mentioned files after computer restart?

Is there any way to give the Shred content with AVG complete access?  Sometimes when I try to shred things it states that I do not have enough access rights to shred it.  I am the owner, only user, and administrator of this computer.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
