Shuts computer when it in sleep mode

Thank you for contacting us with your concerns. Could you let us know since when are you experiencing this issue? If you are using AVG PC Tuneup on your PC, please try to undo the changes made by AVG PC Tuneup to your PC. If that does not resolve the issue, we believe it is not caused to AVG and we suggest you to contact Microsoft support.

Please follow the instructions below to restore the changes made by the AVG PC TuneUp program :
1. Open AVG PC TuneUp program.
2. Click on the Rescue Center on the right bottom corner.
3. Click on Undo Changes.
4. Select and restore the changes made by the AVG PC TuneUp program.

I like to put my desktop to sleep , or when I wander off for a coffee - it auto sleeps after ten minutes - as I have set it to do. AVG then shuts the system down- in such a way that when I start again-- I get the b/w printed only screen coming up saying 'windows shut down incorrectly'- with a countdown running of how it might re start… I have windows 7 professional on my acer desk top.
