Hello,

I am Drago Dragičević, CEO at Cro-Bit Ltd.
Our software is BitCro Social, browser extension installer for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer.
I have already sent detailed explanation of our product on your mail few days ago, even submited samples but recieved this answer: "This is to inform you that we have received your request for "False Detection. However the sample that is uploaded is corrupt. We politely request you to resend us the sample file."

Seems it is automaticly adding detection to our updater and extension installer as "Win32/DH{gRKBEyAiWyVXTg}"

I have re added submission of our BitCro Social installer.

Please check what is going on with these false positive detections.
We want to make sure our affiliate and end users will not be interrupted by false positive detections from AVG.

Hello AVG,

We have removed feature that was causing PUP detection for our software:
- add injection to the websites

We submited the latest version of BitCro Social http://www.avg.com/submit-sample

Waiting for response  on current False Positive detection.

I wasnt not able to reply to sender, so I am replying here.

Could you tell us the reason why is our software added on detection list?

Is the problem with our update module? We are using simple update as any other applications.

Please let us know the details, so we can update our software and remove caused detections.

Drago, My previous post was actually referring to the AVG Community Support.

They didnt remove false positive detection:

"We have received an update from our technical team that the detection is correct for your software.


Therefore, we are unable to add your application to the AVG Whitelist as AVG says that your software is an Potentially Unwanted Program."

Seems there is still no progress in analyzing our software.

It is still detected as Win32/DH{gRKBEyAiWyVXTg}

There is no reply on samples I uploaded to your FTP.

Original Virus Analysis Specialist reply was:
Win32/DH detection removed, application was classified on the PUP level (and this detection is CORRECT) due to:
- silent toolbar installation
- add injection to the websites

we have scheduled advertising of our product at 26th of June,

thats why I am uploading files directly to your FTP.

I am interested if the current false positive detections are removed from this build,

will they appear again in our next product build?
