Since a software update yesturday AVG free 2015 pops up with avgnsa.exe error

Hello Gareth. I certainly understand that you have used AVG Remover tool. I would request you to go to the drive where you installed this tool and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually. After doing this please download the AVG Free antivirus 2015 version through this link: http://www.avg.com/download-file-dm-afh . If you get any issues please do let us know. Thank you.

I can see two very long log files that the tool saved after running, would these be worth investigation?

Hello Gareth, I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. The avgnsa.exe is the back ground process running for Identity protection component. Since you are receiving this error there could be a chance that the program is corrupted. Please refer the following link http://avgread.me/1bsCjtC and re-install your AVG program  to fix this issue. Thank you.

Ever since I updated the AVG AntiVirus Free Edition 2015 yesturday I have had the pop up from AVG displaying Unspecified error occured with the following component - avgnsa.exe it will keep popping up every so often, seems frequent. This only started yesturday, I have tried to repair like I found in another thread this did not work. I have also tried to uninstall reboot and reinstall and I have the same error still. The only thing I can think of is to find an old version but this will be out of date and may still have the problem after updating.

File version of what I used to try and reinstall is 15.0.0.6086 installer file name avg_free_stb_all_6086p1_177

Any good ideas? I've already done a repair and reinstall neither worked so im stumped.

Gareth, if that notepad files and the .exe file is for the AVG Remover tool then please delete it manually. The link which I provided is the direct link  to download the online installer file for AVG Free antivirus 2015. This link avg_free_stb_all_6086p1_177.exe which you provided is for the AVG Internet security installer. Thank you.

Hello Gareth, I would request you to run AVG remover tool based on your OS (32-bit or 64-bit) to completely remove AVG and then re install AVG. To determine whether your OS is a 32-bit or 64-bit, please click on this link. http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/827218

To download AVG Remover tool for 32-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x86_2015_5501.exe
To download AVG Remover tool for 64-bit: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/support/avg_remover_stf_x64_2015_5501.exe

Just to add I didn't interupt the command line window running, it did what it needed to do restarted the computer on its own then it auto relaunched the process and then the window closed on its own after running more processes for a few minutes. I'm lost as what to try, I've reinstalled three times now and used this tool once.

I can't see this folder that you mentioned.only three files two notepad files and the exe but no folder. What will be different from avg_free_stb_all_6086p1_177 and the one you have linked me to?

I can see two very long log files that the tool saved after running, would these be worth investigation?
