Since installing all products of avg, my pc is as slow as a snail at sleep

Hi, I have now bought every product possible to protect my PC, but it keeps asking me to upgrade to a better version.  Secondly, my PC is sooooo slow, it takes about 10 minutes to open programmes.  This is unacceptable.  I never had the problems with Norton.  Please tell me how to sort it out.  It stops add-ins and then my emails do no come through.  I'm new to the community and need all the help please.  If any AVG teams are online, please assist with your programme.

Please clarify whether the performance goes down at startup from sleep or random. Also, let us know if you've tried optimizing using AVG TuneUp. If so, let us know the optimization level displayed in TuneUp program.
