Hello Shirley,
We are sorry that your printer goes to sleep mode and unable to wake it. Please try to revert the changes made by AVG Tune up unlimited using the steps provided in this link http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-revert-changes-done-by-PC-TuneUp and check if printer and adobe works fine.

I'm having a problem with my printer going into sleep mode.  Now it won't let me print even after it "wakes up".  It's doing the same thing with Adobe PDF…it has to wake it up before I can use it and
then it has to wake up the printer.  I haven't been able to print for a couple of days now.  Is there
anyway I can turn off the sleep mode on certain things that I use?
