Slow internet after upgrading to AVG secure vpn

Please try connecting to different servers (location) in AVG Secure VPN to check if it helps.

Since the upgrade to AVG secure vpn (windows 10) my internet is extremely slow. Both at home and at my work address directly connected to a modem with a cable (different providers). I ran AVG tuneup and cleaned everything up. Slowness remains. Every browser screen or file save to the cloud results in a long wait.
You cannot work with this. Which options in AVG do I need to disable to be able to work normally again.
