Slow network speed

  • Please confirm whether network speed working slow only for specific VPN location or all location available in the location list.
    Answer: I have done some speedtesting on a few different locations and there doesn’t seem to be any difference.
    Re-tried my connection to “Brussel” while working on large data files and it seems to be working. Not superfast but ok. I will do some more testing. 
  • Let us know the operating system installed in your device.
    Answer: Operating System is Window 10 Home. (21H2)
  • Have you tried to reinstall or restart the PC after the update and check it?
    Answer: Since that update of Secure VPN computer was restarted multiple times as part of daily startup

Since last days/weeks network speed with Secure VPN turned on is really slow. what has happened? 
Recenty an automatic update for  Secure VPN was performed. 
Running version 1.15.5913

In this case, we'd request you to try connecting to one of the Torrenting/P2P servers (preferably Amsterdam, Netherlands) available in your AVG Secure VPN & check if the issue persists.
Also, please follow the below steps & enable Mimic protocol in your AVG Secure VPN:
Open AVG Secure VPN > Menu > Settings > Experimental > Select Mimic.
