Do you think AVG apps are causing the slowness? If I may ask, how did you narrow down this issue to AVG?
Please make sure you do not have any conflicting antivirus or firewall software installed on your PC and uninstall any unwanted applications to free up the space.

I have AVG Protection and Tuneup. The last few weeks, it takes minutes to boot and system is slow. Is there any way I can disable AVG Protection and Tuneup.
