Slows down my computer

After installing the latest update to AVG Internet Security my computer is horribly slow. Sometimes taking a full minute to giving me access to the page. It will load but then stalls for a full minute or more. Also crashes alot when i try to go to some pages. What can i do to fix this, i really don't want to buy a different program, but i can't continue using this AVG the way it is. Please help if you can. I have done all of the suggested fixes listed in the help menus.

if you are working for AVG more than 3 days, do you think that is help for yourself software slow down computer?
  if you know any of software you should give this kind answer. it look like you cannot do anything for AVG internet security slow down our computer. this is not the first people and will not the last one.

give some helpful answer pleas.
or told us cheange to other software(like ESET, it never slow down my computer and never told me reinstall software will help you computer geting fast.

if support job easy like you did, (just answer reinistall) you boss should not pay you alot.

Open AVG Internet Security / Antivirus -> Menu -> About -> Submit your feedback. 
Repair http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG of AVG Internet Security should fix the issue. 
Let us know if your computer works fine when AVG is disabled or uninstalled. 
Right click on AVG icon under system tray next to clock, click on toggle bar to turn off your Protection temporarily.
