Software Update Incorrectly Recognized as Malicious

Hello Ryan,

I regret for the inconvenience caused. Please let me know if you are using the free or paid version of AVG. And also send the sample of the file to AVG https://www.avg.com/submit-sample for analysis, if found legitimate we will add this to global exception list. After which you will not have any problem with the update.

I use Follow Liker, a software program, which AVG recognizes as a virus whenever it tries to update. It gives me the alert "Threat Secured" but there's no way in the popup to indicate that this is not a threat. I've tried manually adding the program/update file to an exception list and it doesn't work. Is there a fix for this- doesn't seem logical there just isn't a button on the popup to say that it's not a malicious file.

Ryan, I understand this must be upsetting. Please submit the website to us for analyzes False Positive File Form. Our developer's team will analyze the file and get back to you via email.

I can't find the update file. I'm using the free version. When it prevents the file it doesn't show me the full path and it doesn't let me white list or show it to me in a ban list. Really annoying. This is the website: https://www.followliker.com/.
