A person in my mailing list is receiving email supposedly form me with my name as the sender and the email address <Email address redacted>.
AVG has not stopped that occurring.
How do I stop this occurring?
Hello John,
You've reached the AVG community support forum.
We regret to inform you that AVG Internet Security only scans your incoming emails to check if any email attachments you receive are infected and if an infected attachment is found, the user will be alerted immediately.
In this case, we'd recommend that you change the password for all your email accounts, reset your web browsers as mentioned in this article.
Furthermore, we recommend that you do not use your email credentials to sign up to any unsecured websites.
Thank you for understanding in advance!
