I do understand the inconvenience caused to you. Are you experiencing issue with all .exe files or on a partcular file? I would suggest you to disable AVG temporarily and check if you can run the .exe file. To disable AVG temporarily, right click on AVG system tray icon and toggle the On/Off slider.

Getting error message on my ASUS A55V Laptop when launching the .exe file:

Is AVG Preventing this? If so How can I get around i?
