Dear Community Members

I have the suspicion that somebody installed spyware on my laptop, Windows 11.

The laptop is new, and high specified, but shows all symptoms, such as

- suddenly becoming (very) slow. It is fast after booting; then after a while gets (very) slow. In particular when I run Adobe Acrobat Reader, and when I run Zoom VideoConf; when I reboot it is fast again. It can become that slow, that a keystroke takes up to a second to take effect.

- the fan is running often, and long, laptop is overheating.

My questions:

Will AVG reliably detect spyware?

I just "update" and run "deep scan"?

Or is there a specialized anti-spyware application to detect spyware, which can complement AVG?

Your advice is much appreciated!
