It now appears my problem lies with gmail rather than AVG, so can you please cancel this query and thanks for your attention.

I receive emails from my GMail account on my laptop using Eudora with AVG Antivirus Free. GMail seems to require SSL and every week I have to go through a process of approving a new certificate which is issued by AVG, otherwise the email will not download  How do avoid having to do this please?
