I apologize for the inconvenience.
Please open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > Troubleshooting > Restore system files > Reset and check if Hacker protection is activated.
Then, follow below mentioned steps to check whether it fixes the issue:
1) Open AVG Internet Security dashboard, click on "Menu–>Settings–>Components–>Firewall–>Customize"
2) To the right of "Policies" scroll down to click on "System Rules"
3) Enable the option for "Windows file sharing and printing", "allow remote desktop connection" and the last entry "Enable stealth mode"
4) Below policies, click on "Network Profiles", to the right- click on the network connection and change the profile to "Private" if it is set to "Public".

The pervios incident 2 weeks ago i was recommended to uninstall and then reinstal the AVG security.

As from end of March this year i am encountering problem with the last internet security in out going mail ,using Outlook app also the Hacker attack feature is not functioning.
3 weeks ago i was recommended to uninstall and than reinstall the AVG in order to rectify this issue (Hacker ) ,the problem disappeared for 2 weeks and yesterday appeared again.
The Hacker Attack is in red not functioning and can not be set into operation!!
anybody have a solution,I have no response from AVG

Avi, I appreciate your efforts and patience in fixing the issue.
This is a known bug so no need to reinstall the application. This troublshooting steps will fix your issue, need not worry about it.
I reinstalled my AVG Internet Security, but I still show 'Hacker Attack' not working. On component list it shows green(on) so is it false message? Am I protected even though it says I am not for 'hacker Attacks'? I am also using Malwarebytes, but this never caused any issue before-at least with 'hacker attack '…?
