Hello Midhun, I haven't been able to upload the screen shot of the malware. When the Install Image pop-up is displayed, it is non-functional. I've turned off the content and pop-up blockers for this website, but no luck. And, I can't drag the image into the answer either.
Hello Margaret,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Please share us the screenshot of the "StandartProductd" pop-up you've been receiving, so that we can check & assist you further.
You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on Answer & then click on the Image [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Thanks in advance. Keep us updated.
My MacBook, running Big Sur OS, was recently infected with the "StandartProductd" pop-up malware. I downloaded the free version of AVG which quarantined two suspect files. The pop-up remained after rebooting, so I deleted the two files. The pop-up still remains and subsequent AVG scans find no malware. The pop-up shows as a warning, stating "StandartProductd will damage your computer. It appears when the laptop is booted up and remains. It cannot be put in the trash. Any help is appreciated.
That's unfortunate you are unable to upload the screenshot. In this case, I will send you an email, please reply to that email with the screenshot to proceed further.
