Could you please elaborate your issues and provide you with more details whether you are receiving any error message while restarting your PC?

I am having issues trying to restart my computer.  I am going to follow the safemode procedures, however, I would like to know if this will keep being an issue.  I see many individuals have the same issues and just wondering if I will keep having problems…if so, I would like to know.

Hello Sue,
Thank you for replying us back and we regret for the inconvenience you are facing with the watchdog issues. The AVG watchdog is a known issue and our developers are almost in final stage in fixing it.
By following basic troubleshooting method we can temporarily fix the issue :
1. We request you to unplug all the external devices that are connected to your CPU via USB ports.
2. Please restart your PC and press Esc or F8 keys repeatedly and check whether you get the "BOOT" screen.
3. Once entered into the PC we would request you to run AVG remover tool to completely remove AVG and then re install it.  
Please click this link http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe to download and run the AVG Remover tool.
4. Please select the AVG products which are shown in the remover tool window and then start removal process.

I get this type of response when starting up.  Nothing else, can't do anything, won't start up.

- loading configuration( root kernel, set up)

Phase 1:
- Initialize Components

  1. After the remover tool process is successfully finished, restart your computer.
    6. After the restart,  manually delete the AVG Remover folder in the C drive of My computer. into PC download the installation file using the link : http://www.avg.com/download to reinstall your AVG program.
    7. Run the downloaded file to start the installation process.
    8. Follow the instructions on your screen.  
    9. Complete the installation and restart your computer.
    If it doesnt resolves the issue we would request you to use the AVG Rescue Cd using the instructions on the article http://avgread.me/1Md2imU and check whether you could login into your PC.
