When I turn the computer on I get a black screen with white letters and the phase 0 Starting Watch dog, Loading Config, etc. After phase 0 finishes, phase 1 starts. After Phase 1 finishes nothing else happens. When I turn off the computer and back on, The same thing occurs. The computer is a HP and I'm running windows 10 with AVG. I read where other people were advised to try a safe boot… So I tried turning the computer on, hitting F8, hitting the ESC key, and the Startup screen comes up. I now select System Recovery (F11) that brings me to the Prepairing Automatic Repair Screen, then Diagnosing PC Screen, then Automatic repair Screen. Here I have a choice of two options; Restart or Advanced Options. I can't select either as there is no toggle between the two,
plus the enter key does not work. I can't seem to move past this spot. I would appreciate any and all help.
Removing the wireless mouse did it for my computer. Thanks guys.

Randy,
Do you have any wireless devices plugged into you USB ports? If so, Please remove them and try to reboot again. It should boot normally and once you get to the log in screen you can plug them back in.
Hello Virgil,
Thank you for following the instructions.
Did you connect back the wireless mouse and checked whether the issue persists?
