Startup programs

In previous versions there was a screen with an overview of the programs that are started up when I switch on my computer. I cannot find that screen anymore: where can I find it please?

Hello Gerrit,
We do understand your concern. Please be informed that the option is not available under our new version of the AVG PC TuneUp program. If you have any specific feedback about the product please let us know via http://avgclick.me/AVGfeedback so that it could be escalated to concerned team.
Thank you.

Hello Gerrit,
From your recent post, we are unclear with your query. To assist you better, could you please elaborate on the same, so that we can assist you better?
Thank you

The AVG People who are answering these posts are having alot of difficulty understanding this problem at first in almost every thread I have read. like a pattern.

The Feature to Disable Programs from Starting when windows starts has been removed, and replaced with the ability to ONLY put them to sleep. Which is about 25% as useful as being able to stop them from even starting in the first place.

I saw one AVG Person post (Paraphrasing): that it has been removed because it gives the ability to stop vital windows processes from starting and this can cause system isssues.

Well, I dont remember having such issues with it, but in the current version (the one that only allows "Sleep") it doesnt show ANY vital windows system processes. they are all just user apps, not system. My point is if the system processes can be hidden with the current "Sleep" only way, why cant the system processes be hidden for the old way of being able to completely disable user programs. (User programs are those you installed, system programs are those installed with wondows or later installed by windows. (and their processes and services too). Sorry about spelling, this webpage is made of strange stuff. It wont let any of my webpage spell cheking plugins work

In Protest I Will not be renewing my monthly PC-Tuneup Sub. Of course I will Keep my Internet Security Sub. No probs ther so far. I WILL renew my PC-Tuneup Sub if we are being listened to and AVG Promptly remedies the situation or provides and Adequate Excuse as to why not.

Hello Jayson,
We apologize if an AVG Tuneup new feature did not meet your expectations. Yes, you're correct, the Feature to Disable Programs from Starting when windows starts has been removed, and it replaced with the ability to put them in sleep/disable. Our main goal is to keep our customers happy. AVG carefully monitors the quality of our products and the service we provide, therefore I request you to submit a feedback form (http://www.avg.com/us-en/product-feedback), it will reach to our concern team, they will work on your request. You can disable the windows startup program (please press Windows Logo+R: Run dialog box and type msconfig > click on startup button and uncheck the application box, ,which you do not want to run at windows startup).
Best regards,
Alok.

Gerrit, This alternative AVG feedback link is also available ( link removed ). AVG Guru

Hello Gerrit,
Thank you for elaborating the issue. This startup programs can be done by following this steps:
* Start the AVG StartUp Manager module by going to the Speed Up screen and clicking on the Disable
startup programs section of the Speed Up Potential graph.
* Alternatively, you can start the module by going to All functions in the Dashboard and selecting the Disable
startup programs entry under Installed programs.
Thank you

In the TuneUp tool there was a possibility to see which programs are automatically started up when I switch on my computer. In that way I could add or remove programs from that list of programs to tune my lap top as I wish. I cannot find that list of programs anymore in TuneUp: that is the question.

Thank you for submitting the feedback, Gerrit.
