Steam EoS Trojan Horse

If you think you can manage to send us the detected file here is web page to do so:
http://www.avg.com/submit-sample (select "False alarm on a file" from drop down menu)
Before submiting disable AVG for few minutes.

If above is too complicated, can you at least tell us what is the full name of detection? (for example "Trojan Horse Generic.12.AEFS)

No sorry if I did not make that clear.   Steam has added an Aeria game to their platform.  Echoes of Soul has issues when trying to open it.  I think all virus protectors acknowledge the Trojen but Aeria has stated that this is harmless.  The above is me questioning this statement.   If I say let it pass am I putting my computer in danger by ignoring what AVG is recommending and believing that Aeria's statement that it's just to stop people messing about with the mechanics in game.

Hello Vivienne. Thank you for  the detailed explanation. Please let us know if you are using a crack file or any simulator to play the game? If so, the AV program would detect them as a threat. If you are 100% sure the detected file as harmless, you can ignore it.

I was wondering what people felt about being advised by Steam, a seemingly reputable gaming platform, entertaining an Aeria game - Echos of Soul which want you to tell your av to ignore a Tojan Horse warning as this is to do with a set up in game to stop people who play the game messing about with … I would image codes, script and such.

Apprantely and to all intent and purpose, I am being advised that this is OK.  My thinking is if I allow this TJ then is it possible to copy it by a rogue hacker in which case they would have ful access.

Is it advisable to ignore and override the TJ warning since both Steam and Aeria appear to be quite relaxed about the whole issue?

I am just about computer literate.  I understand only so much.  I google the c**p out of everythiung I don't understand only to find that seconds later I forgot what I just read - I do not speak 'computerees' - I can only hope I have made some semblance of sense in this question and thank you to whoever takes the time to read it and, if possible, reply.
