Still no luck in installing new AVG anti virus

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.
I request you to use the latest AVG remover to uninstall AVG program from your computer.
You can download the remover tool using the following link ( http://www.avg.com/tools#tba2). Please restart your computer after running the tool.
After restart, Go to C drive and type "AVG Remover" in the search tab. Select the file and press "Shift+Delete" to get the file permanently deleted.
And then re install AVG Internet Security using the following link (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Internet-Security-or-Premium-Security).  If you still face any issues with AVG, please do not hesitate to contact us back.

Still getting error code OxC0070643 event.exec.finished.
Tried to uninstall existing program using 64 bit uninstaller link that was sent to me but that also failed to complete!
Been a couple of weeks now and Im at a loss to know what to do.
