STILL struggling with this damned software

Hello Alan, Thanks for replying to me over the weekend, having today (Monday) attempted to use the Removal tool you linked me to, I am once again in trouble.
After it finds the target products and I select both of them, it commences the process, but is interupted once more by :-
Critical Stop message which it is impossible to close either via the "X", or the "OK" buttons
bizarrely, repeated attempts brought up a questionaire asking my opinion on the experience!
You can imagine the response I have given, I ghope that somewhere in the bowels of the organisation it will cause some mild discomfort, similar to the insertion of a pinapple (rough end first) !

Is it possible that you could instigate another remote session for me so that they can remove the mess which THEY created from my machine and replace it with a PROPERLY install of the ZEN product which you kindly linked me to?

I have been suffering with this problem caused by AVG alone, since early December and don't think that this request is unreasonable.

Look forward to hearing what you can arrange for me, and thank you for your help.

Geoff, AVG Zen… Quote "This I was told was not possible as this product is not distributed as a "Free" version"… Have a look @ this webpage (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/home-small-office-security#all-tab). AVG Zen is available on the AVG Protection FREE & AVG Performance FREE products.

Geoff, Quote "is it possible that you could instigate another remote session for me".. Unfortunately I'm not an AVG employee.. Someone from (AVG Technologies) will see your posting & respond.

Geoff, To make sure you have completely removed AVG and its traces, use 'AVG Remover Tool' (http://aa-download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe). Please restart to complete the uninstalling process. After restarting your computer, you may need to manually uninstall/delete any remaining AVG applications from 'Control panel' and also 'search' for a folder "AVG Remover"(usually in 'C' drive) and please delete it manually. Then you can download & use the free install file (http://www.avg.com/ww-en/free-antivirus-download).

This is what AVG Remover has left me with, and the "Bad Image Pop-up" is a "Stay on top" window which I can't get rid of! Grrr!
Remover has totally messed up the AVG Install! a good thing I think!
