Hello, thank for your reply. The problem remain unsolved, though.
The solution(s) aka the "steps" the AVG assistance showed me has proven to be ineffective. To be more accurate, as I open the Menu of AVG Internet Security on my laptop in order to enter the activation code, I typed it in carefully, waited for the system to accept it, and when the response arrived it said "my internet connection was off". Totally senseless as the signal is very strong and I have a top connection, actually, and I'm currently working with it perfectly.
Tried, then, to enter the activation code for AVG TuneUp, there's not even the possibility to do so the way you suggested , that is there is not a place in which one can enter the code.
On a side note, I would like to point out that I have been given an identical code for two different products. Is that normal? Just asking. Seemed odd to me.
As to the links you also provided, I found no solution to my problem there too. It was the first way I tried by myself to enter the code a few days ago, after a little research on the site. No success.
At this point, considering that I don't have much time available for things that should be working smoothy, and I need an effective antivirus, I'm kindly but firmly asking for a smart, stress-free solution to something that has never occurred to me or a refund on the card it was charged, in addition to a safe method to remove AVG product from my computer.
Thank you,
Elisabetta Frigerio.
