Still waiting 30mins later for AVG re: Updated Drivers

Computer keeps crashing/dump crash, memory data/spooling probs etc… and I didnt associate it with AVG untill I read the consequence of reading the PC Health issues on 2 devices which need Drivers Updating apparently. Never had this problem with my old programme but updated to AVG Tuneup July this year.
It says one problems is "Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport adapter" needs updating and when looking on my computer then says "Windows has determined Driver Software is up to date"  so why doesnt it correct itself.
Second Driver issue is "HP Photosmart Premium 309g-m" my printer. I have downloaded the software from the HP website but AVG cannot find it (searching all through c: drive etc…  So I re-install my original Printer disc,  STILL can see the driver, so I point the Browse button to my cd driver E: and still wont pick it up.
Please advise on these two issues which I believe continually affect my pc in crashing, restarting and sometimes just freezes and tried loading window files to try and start again.
Now waiting for AVG to answer their UK phone…,
