I started my trial of AVG Tuneup yesterday and am generally pleased with results. BUT . . . I discovered this morning that all the recently used files usually listed in the right-hand pane under Quick Access in File Explorer are gone. I use this list a lot, but I don't see any obvious place in Settings to keep this from happening again. My closest guess would be under System Junk/Program history files and …/Windows history files.
Would much appreciate informed responses on this issue.
Thanks!
Hi Judith.
If I may ask, how did you narrow down this issue to AVG TuneUp?
Please undo the changes made by AVG TuneUp on your PC to clarify.
The Rescue Center allows you to undo certain changes made by AVG TuneUp. To access the Rescue Center, click the undo icon on the right side of the AVG TuneUp interface. You can view a list of actions and click Undo next to any action you want to reverse.

Thanks for your response, Avinash.
Actually, there was no narrowing down involved. Activating and using AVG Tuneup last evening was the only programmatic change I made before rebooting this morning. There's no other likely cause available. Wondering if Quick Access files were identified by the AVG as temp files?
I looked into the Rescue undo options, and nothing there looks reasonable as a source of the problem. Fortunately, the absence of the Quick Access files isn't catastrophic, just inconvenient.
Meanwhile, I've disabled the Windows and Program history files options I mentioned in my initial note.
