From your description, we're uncertain about the exact notification that you receive from AVG. Would you be so kind to share us the screenshot of it for better clarity?

I have the pad version of AVG for Mac, and do not want to use the "Scan secure sites" option. How do I get the app to stop bugging me about this? Turning it off in preferences should be enough. How do I make the nagging stop?
