Hello Massee,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please let me know the version of AVG installed in your computer and also send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the AVG pop-up you receive, so we can check the same and assist you further.

Hello, the Ads/pop-ups isnt the problem, Its the anti virus thats been acting strange, Like I dont know why AVG always puts out msgs saying "Win32:(name)[Trj] or [Mal]" quarnated when my other anti viruses dont detect anything like when I go on a website. And when that happens it says more threats may be lurking and when i scan my laptop, it Always says its clean. I did one time install a program/ software that had a virus and my Malwarebytes and AVG anti viruses found it but it was kind of too late so i had task manager already open to go to the files and delte/stop them and thanks for the anti viruses I got lucky but when i scan my laptop after that happended, it still says not threats found for some reason.

Hello I have been using this anti virus for like a year now and its doing good but I have some problems with it. I go on some websites and some of them I go on I get a "Win32:[Trj] or "Win32:[Mal]" or some weird name and I also use Malwarebytes anti virus but it never finds any of those but idk if that's normal or what. I also scan the laptop and deep scan it when I had ad-ware on my laptop it was called "Yahoo Powered!" but it didn't find it so i had to get Malwarebytes to get rid of it. Like when AVG scans my laptop and says no threats found, i scan with my other anti virus and finds alot more threats for some reason. I don't know if my AVG anti virus is fake or what but its also giving me like on every youtube video i watch, theres ALWAYS an ad about AVG and its kind of bugging me.

But if you can help me out with my issue with this Anti virus I would greatly appreciate it and thank you!

Oh thank you very much for letting me know about the threat detection and websites. I also have a question about, Is it ok for me to use 2 anti viruses at the same time (i also have windows defender but it's disabled because of other anti viruses) because I dont want Malwarebytes to get in the way of AVG and cause issues with each other. I'm not sure if you can help me with this question but my laptop's battery dies really fast (it says 2h 45m) but its really like 40min if its not in charge, so its always in charge even if i have 100% and I get a pop-up saying I should install AVG longer battery life but I don't know if its really from AVG and not some other software because its like Light-blueish looking saying to install it.
But thank you for your help I really like AVG and I will always support this company. Thanks.

Hello Massee,
I apologize for the inconvenience caused. Please let me know the version of AVG installed in your computer and also send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the AVG pop-up you receive, so we can check the same and assist you further.

Hello Massee,

I understand your concern on this threat detection. Please be informed that when you browse some insecure websites, cache files will be saved to your browser which will cause unnecessary pop-up. AVG detects this cookies and cache and remove it automatically, that is why it is not detected as threat. If you still have any problem, please send us the screenshot(http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot) of the threat message you receive, so we can check the same and assist you further.
