I need a way to stop AVG from constantly offering me the latest deal just because I am using the free version. When it pops the ad, it interupts my application and forces the ad to become the active window in front. I need this to stop if I am going to continue using this product.
There is no such things as a legitimate campaign pop-up. I was not asked and do not agree to them. They are:
1) Frequent
2) Intrusive - they interupt running applications and force themselves to the foreground
3) No opt-in
4) No opt-out
5) Repeat even if declined
Please do more than escalate this issue. I would consider this a break/fix that requires an immediate patch or update to disable them completely until this policy can be reviewed and brought in line with common industry practice and laws regarding opt-in/opt-out. This is costing you customers and reputation on a daily basis. A quick search of your community shows multiple posts about this exact same issue.

Peter is not alone in being irritated; these adverts are driving me to distraction. If they don't stop soon, I will be uninstalling AVG.
