Strange behavior

Hi.
I am using your AVG Antivirus Free product with my OS Windows 7. From a certain time there is a little strange behavior of this product: When I am checking a file in any folder for viruses there is a big black AVG window without any message, but after a while the check is finished and a new small window appears with a button "See details". After click on the button the small window disappears, big window does not change and I must finish it manually. For some time I didn't solve this, check was working, but today I tried to check 1,7GB .rar file. The big black AVG window appears and that's all, no progress, no message, after about 30 minutes I cancelled the window through 'x'. I tried this more times, I reinstalled AVG Antivirus Free, nothing changed. It looks like AVG is not working with this file.Now I am not capable to check this file. Can you please give me an advice what to do with that ? Thanks a lot in advance.

Thank you for your answer. I am attaching the screenshot. And I found out that this behavior is just when I want to check files through the Windows Context menu. I tried to do it through AVG UI > Run Other Scans > … and it works.User-added image
