Sorry for the trouble, we recommend you to use AVG Clear tool to uninstall AVG Internet Security/ Antivirus free. Refer this article: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product  to download AVG Clear tool to uninstall it.

After restart, download offline installation file from our official website: https://www.avg.com/en-us/download.prd-gsr-free based on your windows OS version bit size. Hope, it helps.

Hi,

I can no longer access AVG Free. I get a window with the message "Your Internet Security trial has expired" instead of the normal interface. Not sure why I am getting this message since I never installed the full version.

I have tried uninstalling AVG Free, downloading and re-installing it without success. I have also tried AVG_Remover. It told me it could not find any AVG products on my computer despite the fact AVG Free was running!! I uninstalled AVG Free again, restarted my computer then ran AVG_Remover in an attempt to remove any remnants of the software. Restarted and re-installed again but I still get the same message.

Would anyone know how I can fix this?
