STUPID free version of tune up won't uninstall

I dumbly fell for a "Free Trial" of AVG tune up. Trail is over but pop-up trying to sell it to me lives on forever!  Will NOT uninstall under Programs. I have a paid anti-virus 2015 which works beautifully, but I do not want tune up & I do not want these annoying pop ups. H-E-L-P!
