Subdirectories not working properly

Hello Mike,
This isn’t an expected behavior because if you add a Directory/folder to the AVG exception list (AVG protection > menu > settings > general > exception > add > file > browse the folder) then their subfolders will be skipped from the AVG scan automatically.
If it's not working, then I request you to repair AVG protection, reboot your computer once, add the folder/directory to the AVG exception list and check the status.
Regards,
Alok.

In avg you can add dirs to skip. But apparently it doesnt work for subdirs…

e.g. c:\src* doesnt seem to work, because on c:\src\mydir* it will then still scan for a virus… So one needs to apparently mention many dirs instead of having a tag saying also scan subdirs…

Or am I mistaken and does it allow to not scan subdirs??
