This issue might have happened due to differernt reasons. Either you should have used facebook account on a different device or should have used facebook account in front of others.

Hello,
I hope you can help with 2 questions?
1)  A payment has been taken from me before the current year's subscription has been completed.  I was unsure if I would use the product again? If I decide not to, can I have a full refund?
2)  The reason I was unsure about using AVG Internet Security again is because my Facebook account was recently accessed by someone else.  As a result I am currently unable to access the Facebook account.  I have always been diligent with changing passwords, etc.  My understanding was that the AVG Internet Security was to help prevent these such things?  Could you please advise?

Hello again,
Thank you for your response and could you please clarify the following for me?
1) I use Facebook on my laptop and the laptop is protected with AVG.  Would having AVG Internet Security stop hackers getting into my Facebook account on the laptop?
2) If I decided to renew my subscription, could I also use AVG Internet Security on my mobile phone (Android)?

Dermott, I'm glad to clarify your queries,
1) Our AVG Internet Security will protect your Facebook account from hackers and also do the below steps on your laptop.

  • Select Web & Email on the AVG Internet Security.
  • Click Open on the Hack Alerts tile.
  • Click Protect my accounts.
  • Enter your AVG Account credentials and click Sign in. Alternatively, select the Create account tab to create a new AVG Account.
AVG will monitor for leaks involving any online accounts that are linked with the email address you provided.

Also we have a separate feature called Hackers attack which will protect your PC from hackers.
