I have had AVG pc tune up for a few years, today my subscription expired as I couldn’t afford to renew it. When I tried to log in to my Microsoft account to access my laptop I got the message User Profile Service failed. I tried to rectify this and now I cannot log in at all and a location is not available message is flickering on and off on the screen. I am not happy about this and am not in a position to pay to get it fixed right now and I need my laptop fairly urgently

Hi Bharath Roger
I don’t recall doing anything out of the ordinary. Yesterday when trying to rectify the issue what looked like a factory reset account opened up and all my files etc were gone. A screen with thank you for downloading an avg program was there, the driver one which I already had. I have now managed to restart in safe mode but of course am now having nbn connectivity problems, not sure if that’s related but will contact my nbn provider to deal with that before proceeding. Any further insight from the information I have provided would be appreciated. Sorry this situation is a bit out of my ability level so not sure I am explaining it well. Thanks
