I paid for an AVG Subscription on 7/15/22. I've had free AVG on my laptop for the past couple of years. I ran scans today and it said it couldn't fix them as I have free basic still and tried to sell me a subscription again! I did not receive an email with an activation code nor was I given information to "create an account". I just created an account and learned that there are no subscriptions attached to my email… So AVG took my $ and I'm left hanging??
Also, why am I left to post this on a community. Is there a reason I cannot speak to someone in customer support to resolve this? I'm ready to call my credit card company and tell them AVG screwed me over and to take back my money.
