I would like the licences to be merged, please. Could you explain exactly what this means? Also how do I turn off auto renewal?
ALSO: I'm having real problems with TuneUp - it seems to keep uninstalling itself and at the moment won't reinstall from the my subscription page where it says install and activate. Any suggestions, please?

We would like to inform you that auto-renewal status of your subscriptions are in enabled status. This is why the renewal date is showing on the user interface instead of expiry date.
The expiry date will appear only if the auto-renewal status is turned off. Hope this answers your query.
As AVG Internet Security is already included in AVG Ultimate, may we proceed merging these licenses at free of costs? This will increase the validity of the subscription.

My subscription is paid from 2nd December 2019, but when I check my subscription it says it expires 18t November 2020. This seems to be a hangover from a previous subscription, but how can I get it up to date?
Alan, let me clarify the things for you.
Meaning, we will combine both the subscriptions and extend the validity. As a result, you will be having AVG Ultimate good till December 2, 2021(approximately).
You can cancel auto-renewal service by login to your AVG MyAccount as mentioned here (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Cancel-AVG-auto-renewal).
May I proceed merging the licenses?
Could you check if you see AVG PC TuneUp icon on your desktop and control panel?
