Subscription Renewal (Order number removed)

We request you not to share the order number or any sensitive data on a public forum.
We would like to clarify the concept of AVG free trial that you have signed up.
You would see the notification on AVG program to sign up for free 60 day trial which is actually know as "Pre-Authorized trial" where you would give out the requested information including the card details.
Its terms and conditions includes auto renewal service too and hence, when you agree to it, the auto renewal service will be enabled for the trial. This can be cancelled from your AVG MyAccount or by contacting our support.
An email notification will be sent prior to let you know about this process and the charge that is going to be taken.
Digital River is our eCommerce provider who manages the online sale and distribution of AVG products and services.
Hence, for any AVG purchase related queries, you have to reach our support and not the Digital River.

Hi -  I have just been charged £49.99 subscription renewal. I was informed via email that this charge would be taken out of my account on 09/07/2019. However - in the interim period, I received an offer from AVG for another free 60 day trial - which I took up, downloaded and installed. Thinking this negated the fact that the subscription would be taken out of my account, I did not do anything about it - and now I find it's gone! I would like to have a refund, if I hadn't had that offer, i would've cancelled my subscription before it was taken out. I would prefer to talk to someone about this, but cannot find a contact number that works for Digital River. Communication was not clear, and i was under the impression that - if AVG contacted me with the offer of this further free trial, then they would not be taking any money from my account - it is very misleading.

You have been recently charged GBP49.99 for the AVG Internet Security - Multidevice (1 Year) subscription on 9th July 2019.
Since auto renewal was enabled for its 60 day trial, this charge was debited automatically.
We have initiated the refund for this charge and an email has been sent explaining its status.
The auto renewal service is also enabled for your AVG TuneUp - Unlimited Devices and AVG Secure VPN - Multidevice (60 day) Trial.
