Hello Anthony.
We'll certainly clarify this.
Please note that when you purchase an AVG subscription, you agree to automatically renew it at the end of the subscription.
To ensure continuing protection service, we try and charge you for the renewal 15 days prior to the original expiry date. However, these 15 days are added to the new subscription.
We have sent you an email reminder about the upcoming automatic renewal to your registered email address on 4th Aug 2020. This email also contains instructions to cancel.

why if my renewal date is the 18th September 2020 are AVG collecting on the 3rd September 2020. I went on to my account on the 24th August 2020 to unsubscribe and received a note saying we're now unsubscribing you from AVG Internet Security (multi -device This could take up tp 24 hrs but in most cases it's much faster Got it. It appears that this didn't get actioned . So when I saw the payment was going through I unsubscribed on line from both my licences one for the March and this one in dispute this was done on the 3rd September what happened next was I received two emails confirming my cancellations. Very interesting as the one on the 24th August was not actioned. in theory I should still have had time to cancel the 18th September on as I still have 13 days of my subscription left… Please comment
