Subscription renewal

Today I received an email notifying me that my AVG subscription had been renewed. I was really taken aback because it's the first time it's renewed automatically, I've always done it manually. I don't know if this has been done without my consent or if the last time I renewed it I accepted for it to be renewed, but I'd be thankful if you could cancel the automatic renewal since I don't know how to do it or where to find the option.

The thing is, my subscription ends on the 22th of September so I don't understand why it's been renewed now, even if I accepted the automatic renewal before. Because I'd understand if it was automatically renewed on the 23th of this month, that's how all the subscriptions work, when it ends, if you have the automatic renewal then it charges you the cost of the product. But this way it wastes a lot of days of my subscription, the program/app didn't even tell me the subscription was ending soon because there are still days to go. I don't think it's fair and I'd like to have a refund for this order so I can renew it myself later.
