I received messages online saying my AVG Ultimate was due to run out 31st of March 2022, so I followed the steps to renew, and I received a thankyou email from AVG. However, all the information I’m getting via email and through my account is treating me like a new customer and telling me I must install all the bits. Surely, I shouldn’t have to go through this rigmarole if AVG ultimate is already installed and has been running for almost a year.
As far as I can see all the bits are still running satisfactorily, but not having a degree in computer science, I can’t be certain.
Another problem is that my account says that this renewed subscription will run out in 2023 near the date I renewed not the date my existing AVG is due to run out, thus robbing me of about 14 days protection.
I’m having to use this forum, because whereas in the past, and I’ve been using AVG for several years now, I’ve always been able to pick up the phone and speak to a human person. That Facility seems to have been removed. Any Answers or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Dave
